Making Every Interaction Count
Queensborough Bridge by Jennifer Oates
Librarian, Musicologist, and User Experience Specialist
Making the inaccessible accessible through efficient, user-friendly experiences is my passion. Every interaction counts, and access empowers people. When people have access to the information and people that can help them, they succeed.
I am a people-centric librarian with 18 years’ hands-on experience with user experience and content strategy, educating and empowering others, and fostering connections among diverse populations. Collaborative leadership, team building, mentorship, and innovative problem solving are the cornerstones of my leadership style. Over the past 20 years, I have published, presented, and written for various audiences ranging from the general public to academics and in various formats, including blogs, CD liner notes, and a scholarly book.
